LOVE IN BLOOM - HOPE

If you are 20ish or even 30ish and gay or bi it is probably the best time in decades for you.

There was a time long ago when being gay and gay love was not only accepted but REVERED in places like Greece, Italy, India, Pakistan to name but a few.

THEN came the Middle Ages (Age of Darkness) and the puritanism that messed with people for a long time. It has been a long haul but about 20 years or so ago, the pendulum started to shift again and now the majority of the world believes inequality and bigotry are WRONG.

We now have a lot of countries where Marriage equality is LEGAL. Brazil, the UK, Portugal, Canada, Argentina,. The United States is also there. So this is good. We in America have our rights codified in the Federal Constitution and the  Bill Of Rights, just like women and blacks and everyone else.  

Unfortunately we are better at talking than doing

 but it is catching up.

SO except for a FEW places which are still on the wrong side of History, like North Korea, parts of Africa (Uganda) and others, this is a good time to be NOT GAY. BUT WHO YOU ARE, even if you are gay. Now there are those who will try to impede progress (Always are) because 1) they are afraid of change, 2 ) they are afraid of anything that appears different than them, 3) they are afraid they are also what they fear, and this has always been the case and still is but remember this.

NO ONE has the right to tell you WHO you can love but YOU. God hasn't died and named Brucie or Abdulpoo or anyone else his successor. HE made you, JUST AS YOU REALLY ARE INSIDE, and that is how it will stay. The naysayers like to manipulate and control events, situations, and people.

BUT NOBODY CAN DRIVE OVER YOU IF YOU don't give them the keys to the car/truck/tank.

SIMPLE AS THAT.

LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO STAND UP FOR YOU, AND BE WHO YOU ARE.

It's the ONLY way to be truly happy. WE HAVE HOPE NOW. DO NOT give it away.

If you are 20ish or even 30ish and gay or bi it is probably the best time to be free and open about WHO YOU ARE AND WHO YOU LOVE.

SO go for it. It's the RIGHTS thing to do
